The location was marvellous, within short walking distance to Cruz de Piedra Sculpture. The room was nice with private bathroom, a nice terrace plus patio for a great stay.

The hotel's location is perfect, close to the main attractions like Iglesia de Santo Domingo and the bustling Zocalo, yet it manages to maintain a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. It's just a short 10-minute walk from downtown, making it convenient to explore the city. The spacious terrace in front of the rooms offers a great view of the city and surrounding mountains, providing a perfect spot to relax and unwind.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic. I couldn't find anything that needed improvement - it was simply an enjoyable experience from start to finish.

I recently stayed at Posada Don Mario for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast served in the courtyard was varied and delicious, a perfect way to start the day. The location of the hotel was ideal, as it was within walking distance of the beautiful Santa Domingo area and surrounded by a great selection of restaurants. I also loved the bright and quirky decor, which added a unique touch to the hotel. Lastly, the roof terrace provided a great spot to relax and enjoy the sunset.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We had an amazing stay at this vibrant and colorful hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the whole place was beautifully decorated. The staff were incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time in the city. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore all the sights on foot. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like the small breakfast portions and lack of warm water, we would definitely stay at Posada Don Mario again. we highly recommend this hotel.
